Author Instructions

Please submit abstracts using the abstract submission system above. To access the submission form, a user account needs to be created. Use your email address through which you would like to be contacted about the status of your abstract.

Perhaps Reset your Password. The password must be min 7 and max 14 characters long, contain at least one number, one uppercase, one lowercase, and one special character.

Abstracts may be prepared and submitted either using LaTeX or Word format. Latex submissions are strongly preferred. Please use the templates and examples provided by the download options given below. Overleaf is recommended as a free web platform for abstract preparations using Latex. In the .zip file, find the main.tex and the template.cls files and upload them to Overleaf in a new project, and edit as needed. The maximum abstract length must not exceed 2 pages.

Note: If you submit your abstract in Word format, we will reformat it in LaTeX. We may contact you with a request to review your reformatted abstract.

For submission, either upload all individual Latex project component files for your abstract (.zip files are not permitted); or upload a Word file with all contents, such as figures, equations, and references, as needed. Multiple file uploads can accompany every abstract submission. Permissible file formats are .tex, .eps, .png, .doc, .docx, and .pdf. The maximum individual file size is 10 MB. Do not upload the .cls file from the LaTex template.

In addition, please upload a .pdf version of your abstract. If you are using Latex, compile and download the .pdf created by Overleaf. For Word submissions, export or print as .pdf.

Please contact Yousra Traouli if you have questions about your abstract submission.

All completed submissions received by the deadlines indicated above will be reviewed by the Program Committee. Selection of abstracts for presentation at ICSE-10 will be based on scientific and technical merit.

    ICSE-11 Proposal Solicitation

The ICSE-10 organizers solicit proposals for the organization of ICSE-11. Please discuss with your colleagues and within your communities. ICSE meetings are corner stones in the history, presence, and future of the ellipsometry community. We seek strong teams for hosting ICSE-11 in 2028. Please send your short proposal to icse10@ellipsometry.us and /cc mschubert4@unl.edu. Please indicate the proposed main organizing team, location, and any further information you wish to provide.

If more than one proposal should reach us, we will hold a presentation review meeting during ICSE-10 in Boulder. In this case, we will provide further instruction for your team’s presentation. We aim to have a decision for ICSE-11 ready by the end of ICSE-10 to announce to our community before the closing remarks.

    Conference Registration

Conference Registration for ICSE-10 is open. Registration Fees are set at a rate of:

    • $900 for Regular attendees,
    • $500 for Student attendees, and
